ACQUIP announces Strategic Alliance with Altra Couplings to expand its offerings.

ACQUIP and Altra Couplings announced that they have formed a strategic alliance, which will allow them to embark on new projects related to installation and laser alignment of engineered couplings worldwide.

ACQUIP will be the sole authorized service representative for Altra engineered couplings. We will be able to provide complete installation and alignment of machines using Altra couplings. With ACQUIP clients will also get the OEM warranty from the manufacturer. Some of the brands include TB Wood’s, Ameridrives, Biddy transmissions and Huco Dynatork among others.

As part of this new alliance, Altra Couplings trained qualified engineers from ACQUIP to perform high quality coupling services. Both companies will also work together to support the development and marketing phase of this launch. Joint-marketing initiatives will include participation in meetings, new product releases, tradeshow events and mutual representation on their websites.

In addition, ACQUIP and ZAMIL Group, our partners in Saudi Arabia, have set a round of meetings with the purpose of introducing this new service to its customers in the country in the Black Sea.

ACQUIP presents 3D Scanning Services at SPAR Conference 2013

ACQUIP, along with our partners Go3D, presented their 3D Services and products during three days of innovation at the 10^th SPAR International Conference, held at the beautiful Broadmoor Resort in Colorado Springs, CO. April 15 -18 2013,

ACQUIP’s new signature 3D Scanning Services supports a diverse range of industries and applications. From performing retrofits processes, to creating As-Built conditions drawings for different components and environments in your facility.

ACQUIP also met with TechnoSoft, an innovative software company that provides detailed reporting data for tank design and maintenance purposes. ACQUIP strive to nail down a possible partnership with TechnoSoft. It would allow ACQUIP to offer their clients an integral service for 3D Tank Solutions.

ACQUIP Conclude the Year with the World’s Largest Conference and Exhibition POWER GEN INTERNACIONAL 2012. By Marcela Quintana

ACQUIP in partnership with FGGS and FLENDER Graffestanden, for three fast-paced days presented their services and products, during Power Gen International at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando Fl, December 11-13 2012.

Our services for Laser Alignment, the wide-range applications in the three-dimensional engineering field supported by ALFI, the Faro Laser Tracker; combined with the efficiency in Gearbox-Alignment that only our featured product TurbineKey™ can offer, made of power gen a successful show for ACQUIP and FGGS.

We made a complete demonstration of the Faro Laser Tracker measuring system, making a 3D model of the padlock we used in the booth in only 5 min. We gained quickly attention of people about functionality of ALFI and his benefits. Visitors reviewed the data in the computer in Real-Time.

For Turbinekey™, we giveaway to our visitors more than 20 visa gift cards during the show, and we had opportunity to approach them, with our knowledge and experience in the power generation industry for gearboxes and laser alignment of rotating equipment.

At Power-Gen we found a lot of professionals from more that 75 countries in generation, renewable energy and nuclear power, all of them in one place. In conclusion: “Power Gen International was a well-organized event with a large audience. So far, the best show for ACQUIP in 2012″ said Damian Josefsberg president and CEO of ACQUIP.

ACQUIP Opening a new market into our next-door partner MEXICO By: Marcela Quintana

For one week, ACQUIP representatives including our CEO Damian Josefsberg traveled to Mexico to attend a set of meetings that took place mostly in the industrial area of Monterrey and Mexico D.F to present our portfolio of products and services.

Companies like Pemex, Air Liqued, Deacero, and Praxair between others received us. We had the opportunity to approach them with our presentation, clarify their concerns and easily we identified the possible needs in each case.

It was a pleasure to meet and shake some hands there, we appreciate the effort and constant work of our representative in Mexico to make the things happen and we are confident this is only the beginning of a long relationship between ACQUIP – Mexico.

Year after year ACQUIP attends the Turbomachinery/Pump Symposia, this year held in Houston, TX September 24-27, 2012. We attended with the intention of sharing our knowledge and expertise in Laser Alignment with the rotating equipment and power generation community.

ACQUIP exhibited their services for three days at the George R. Brown Convention Center. As a result, we had the opportunity to meet our current clients to discuss future projects and create important relationships with new people and companies in our industry.

This prestigious exhibit gave us the opportunity to attend the event held by SIEMENS, where we had the pleasure to meet with different players in the Turbomachinery and Pumping industries. We met our partners from FGGS and FLENDER Graffenstaden there and made connections.

As a part of the strategic alliance between ACQUIP and FGGS and the idea of joining forces to enter the Brazilian market with our product TurbineKey™, the team attended the Rio Oil & Gas Expo and Conference 2012. This took place September 17-20 at the Riocentro Convention Center.

ACQUIP and FGGS highly promoted our TurbineKey™ solution to create long-lasting partnerships to solve alignment and high-speed gearbox maintenance issues. We are very excited to start offering our services through FGGS do Brasil offices in Rio de Janeiro, the authorized service and parts center for all FLENDER Graffenstaden gearboxes.

We had a reception for our clients at Pampa Grill (a Brazilian Steakhouse), to officially present ACQUIP and FGGS presence in the Brazilian market, and to introduce our products and services. We ended the presentation with a Capoeira Show a typical Brazilian dance that includes precise and coordinated rotating movements between two dancers that can’t touch each other, making people realize the importance of alignment and maintenance for rotating equipment in our industry.

The TurbineKey™ Team was very pleased to share some thoughts to open up these services in Brazil and looks forward to helping facilitate the development of Brazil’s oil and gas industry.
